Andrea is very proud of her claim to be a 'true Mancunian' having been born in Manchester & educated in the Manchester area, latterly at UMIST studying Polymer Science.
Andrea's first memories of supporting United are of the 1963 Cup Final watched in grainy black & white on TV & her first visit to Old Trafford came in autumn '64 when United beat Spurs 4-1. From then on she was hooked & followed United through all their ups & downs to this day only ceasing to be a regular at OT in protest when the takeover happened.
Andrea became involved with SU when the threat of a takeover reared its ugly head. Since then she has helped out with clerical tasks in the office & endeavoured to keep the office fridge filled which has earned her the dubious unofficial title of 'Office Mother'. She firmly believes that United should be owned by its fans & not be the plaything or cash cow of businessmen.
