Secretary & Patrons Liaison
Margaret has been with MUST since the Murdoch fight, first as a member, then serving on the Committee and a Director. She took over as Company Secretary from Karen Matthews and is enjoying the job immensely. She lives in Marple, Stockport, which is about 15 miles from Old Trafford. She has been a Red for more than 25 years.
As Patrons Administrator, Margaret has interviewed Sandy Busby, Anthony Farnell, Pete Boyle and, of course, Ole Gunnar Solskjær for the Newsletter as well as keeping in touch on a regular basis, with them all, by phone, letter or e-mail, updating them on what is happening with SU.
Married to Ustun, who is responsible for introducing her to United in the first place, they have 3 grown-up children and 3 grandchildren. Both Margaret & Ustun took early retirement in 2000 which gives her more time these days to devote to MUST. Margaret firmly believes that SU/MUST will be United's salvation.
