My first game was Portsmouth at home in 1988, stood at the front of the Stretford End, buzzing off the size of the place and the noise from the crowd. I have been hooked ever since. I was born in Manchester, brought up in Salford and now live back in Manchester, I feel privileged to be a Manchester United fan.
The reason I joined MUST (SU at the time) is because I feel the fans should have a say in the way their club is run, or at least some constructive dialogue with the club on fans' issues, such as atmosphere, ground configuration, ticket prices, ownership etc.
I believe that the next few years will be key to the development of MUST, especially in growing the membership. This is down to us as members, to help out in whatever way we can, as we are the people who can push this organisation forward, and whether it takes 5, 10 or even 100 years, we will one day own or at least have a say in the way our club is run.
