Nigel Evans MP

Nigel was born and educated in Swansea and still owns a convenience store there, which his grandfather set up in the 1930's. He has been the Conservative Member of Parliament for the Ribble Valley, Lancashire since 1992. A member of the all- party groups dealing with music, tourism, manufacturing, drugs misuse and space group. He was made shadow Secretary of State for Wales in September 2001 and in October 2003, was appointed to the Welsh Affairs Select Committee. He also serves on the Trade & Industry Select Committee. An avid United supporter, he was more than happy to become a Patron of SU.
