MONDAY 30th AUGUST - EVERTON(H) - PLATTS ROOM
For any members attending the Everton(H) game (on Monday 30th August, 12:00 KO) we will have the Platts room available before this and all other home fixtures (including morning and evening) this season.
For Everton on Monday the doors will open at 9am and they will be serving breakfasts. The bar will open for sale of alcohol at 10 am.
We have booked this room as a service to our members who may wish to use it to meet their own friends or socialise with other SU members..
Apart from a seat and a bit more space, the main benefit is waitress service for food and drinks which means that you can avoid the huge matchday queues at the bar. Also, entry to Platts is FREE if you show your SU membership card. I think it is one pound otherwise on matchdays.
The Norseman room is the small room up 1 flight of stairs (not the top floor) and straight to the back of the building. Members showing their SU card also get free entry to the room while non-members can pay a pound or get in free if they join on the door.
Sam Platts is about 150 metres from Old Trafford's North Stand A map showing the location can be viewed here:
