Forget the plastic 'immortals' of Arsenal and come and celebrate the true
immortals - Manchester United 1999 Treble Winners.
Wednesday 26th May 2004 marks the 5th anniversary of the completion of The
Treble. We thought many of our members might want to celebrate together by
holding a social event at Old Trafford. We've already had more than 350
responses expressing interest in attending so we'd like to get some firm numbers
now.
EVENT DETAILS:
Wednesday 26th May 2004
Doors will open at 7pm: International Suite, West Stand, Old Trafford.
7:45 pm Big screen 1999 European Cup Final plus simultaneous live coverage of
2004 Final.
Admission: £1 (note - just to cover the hire of Audio Visual Equipment is £650)
Full bar facilities available
Prize draw, t-shirts and books stalls plus other special events planned
This is an SU members event but non-members are encouraged to come and join on
the night so please bring a friend.
Those who 'pre-book' as follows will receive priority entry and at the same time
you can let us know if you are bringing any non-members with you to join on the
night.
Essentially it is an opportunity to enjoy a re-run of the 1999 European Cup
Final in the company of like minded supporters in one of the suites at Old
Trafford. Full bar facilities will of course be provided and we will have some
exclusive T-shirts and books available as well as a prize draw amongst other
events
We hope to see many of you there. This is the first such SU social event for
members but we plan to hold regular events in future so those that can't make it
this time may be able to attend other events in future. We also expect to have
the room in Sam Platts pub available exclusively for members before the match
for every home game next season.
